Emergency Medical Care at North Canyon

No one plans on getting sick or injured, but you can plan on getting the care you need, when you need it, at North Canyon Medical Center’s Emergency Department. Supporting central southern Idaho, we offer 24-hour-a-day access to medical care at our full-service Emergency Department. We provide comprehensive urgent care, making sure we meet your emergent medical needs. Our goal is to deliver excellent and thorough healthcare to each patient and their families - making sure everyone receives the urgent care they deserve.

Our highly trained Emergency Department providers and staff are skilled at delivering the best in emergency medicine. We ensure that our staff provides the most current and comprehensive care available by maintaining certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and the Trauma Nursing Core Course.

You will find our staff is familiar and highly competent in determining when you need specialized care and the right care you need. We work closely with other medical facilities both in Idaho and out of state, and when necessary, we facilitate transfers to the most appropriate neighboring facilities.

Since every patient’s visit to the Emergency Department is unplanned, we are ready to provide initial treatment for a wide variety of illnesses and injuries, some of which can be life-threatening and require immediate attention. When patients arrive at the Emergency Department in unstable condition and need to be treated quickly, our staff is ready to respond.

As a full-service Emergency Department, we perform the diagnostics tests and labs needed to help determine a diagnosis. And while getting test results may take some time, be assured that our team will provide compassionate, professional, and continuous care as we reach an accurate diagnosis and deliver the best treatment.
