What if I don't have health insurance or have only limited insurance?
If you do not have health insurance coverage or resources to pay your bill in full, contact Patient Financial Counseling Services at a number listed below to discuss your situation. We can help any patient obtain necessary hospital services in a respectful and efficient manner. We can provide assistance by:
- Establishing a manageable monthly payment plan.
- Helping you qualify for one of several public assistance programs.
- Determining if you qualify for a full or partial discount off your hospital bill through North Canyon Financial Assistance.
Who is eligible for North Canyon Medical Center Financial assistance?
All patients, regardless of race, creed, gender, age, or national origin, may apply for financial assistance from North Canyon Medical Center either in advance of or after receiving covered services. Eligibility is determined on an individual basis, considering factors such as family size, income, assets, and insurance status. If you appear to be eligible for public assistance, our financial counselor staff can assist you in completing the public assistance application process before you can be considered for North Canyon Medical Center assistance.
What services qualify for North Canyon Medical Center Financial assistance?
The North Canyon Medical Center Financial Assistance Program applies to all medically necessary patient services that are provided at our hospital including inpatient, outpatient and emergency services.

Patients who are determined eligible for medical financial assistance will not be charged more than amounts generally billed for emergency or other medically necessary care to patients with insurance.
